Unique work
Inspired by the story of Helel, Lucifer.
The angel bearer of the morning light who is cast out of heaven along with the rebel angels.
Transformed into human form, he tries to return to heaven by masking and disguising himself first as a man and then hiding his gaze by covering it with a black cloth.
The work represents the moment of the attempt so it can be understood as a "while".
Helel is masked and about to go back to heaven, but leaves the doubt that he can be blocked or can through his disguise evade controls and return home. Suspended between heaven and earth, he is caught in the act of attempting his escape from hell, in this case a metaphor for the earthly human condition.
Each individual pursues his own achievement but how many succeed in the enterprise?
We are often linked to a conscious condition of mediocrity that pushes us towards self-improvement or surrender.
Conceptually the work is inspired by the old testament.
