Oil on canvases. The work consists of two superimposed canvases, one on the surface depicting a naked woman in a state of agitation and the other hidden below depicting the non-visible part of the work. With an informal language, the underlying canvas emerges outside, breaking the painting on the surface and appropriating a new space and dimension. Trying to summarize the concept of the work, I wanted to relate what is visible with what is hidden, a figurative pictorial language with an abstract one, what is on the surface with what is in depth, I wanted to represent opposites that coexist together and in this case one of the two takes over, thus going beyond the "superficiality" of what "appears".
