In this work there are symbols belonging to different traditions.
Ganesh, Hindu deity, the upper part takes on an indigo hue, recalling the color of the highest chakra present in the human body, while the mirrored part below is depicted with a reddish hue, which instead recalls the lower chakra.
These two energetic extremities, these opposites, come together in the center of the work in an embrace, where the two trunks form the symbol of the "Tao", an archetype with a strong appeal to the balance of the whole.
All around a temple is depicted, a sacred place, supported by 2 columns that rotate seven times on themselves, which are actually two "Nagas", guardian reptiles that in various traditions protect the Divinity.
In a metaphorical key referring to the human being, in which the Temple around is none other than the physical body, while inside Ganesh represents the divine component, the soul, which in order to be in harmony, requires balance between the parts emotional (low), and mental, spiritual (high).
Mixed Medium: Airbrush, paintbrush, acrylic paints.
