exibart prize is an award dedicated to art in all its forms. Specifically, the eligible categories are: illustration, drawing, painting, graphic arts, digital art, performance, sound art, photography, and sculpture. In general, all other art categories not explicitly mentioned are also admitted.

To participate in the exibart prize EP7, artists must be registered on the exibartprize.com website, publish up to a maximum of 9 artworks on their personal page, and be up to date with the payment of the registration fee.

Art. 1 – PURPOSE

The competition aims to promote contemporary Italian and international art. The award is not given to a single artwork in the competition, but is designed to be dedicated to the artist. Therefore, the artist’s entire page—including artworks, biography, and any video content—will be evaluated.

Art. 2 – ELIGIBILITY

The prize is open to artists of any discipline and has no age or qualification restrictions.
The competition does not require artworks to be unpublished, nor does it require adherence to a specific style or subject matter.

Art. 3 – SELECTION SYSTEM AND JURY

Selections take place in two phases.

First phase: the jury is composed of members of the exibart editorial team, who select the finalist artists.
Second phase: a selection of new jurors will determine the overall winner of the prize.
Artists in the top 10 positions of the final ranking (excluding the winner, who is not permitted to participate in the prize again) will be entitled to direct entry into the following year’s final as a complimentary invitation.

In the event of a tie, higher ranking will be awarded to the artist who received votes from the greatest number of jurors; if the tie persists, higher ranking will be given to the artist with the most likes/artworks on their page; if the tie still persists, higher ranking will be awarded to the artist who registered earliest.

Art. 4 – PRIZES and BENEFITS

exibart prize EP7 Winner

4,000.00 euros as an acquisition prize for an artwork chosen by the artist, which will enter the exibart collection and be featured on the cover of an issue of exibart onpaper. As required by law, withholding tax will be applied to the prize sum as tax.

The artist will be dedicated an exclusive exibart on paper cover presented at one of the primary art fairs attended by exibart, featuring a dedicated two-page article.

The artist will be featured in a dedicated interview on exibart.com, exibart.es, and exibart.ar

2nd Place Award

2,000.00 euros as an acquisition prize for an artwork chosen by the artist, which will enter the exibart collection. As required by law, withholding tax will be applied to the prize sum as tax.

The artist will be featured in an exclusive two-page interview published in exibart on paper.

The artist will be featured in a dedicated interview on exibart.com, exibart.es, and exibart.ar

3rd Place Award

1,000.00 euros as an acquisition prize for an artwork chosen by the artist, which will enter the exibart collection. As required by law, withholding tax will be applied to the prize sum as tax.

The artist will be featured in an exclusive one-page interview published in exibart on paper.

The artist will be featured in a dedicated interview on exibart.com, exibart.es, and exibart.ar

Benefits for the Top 10 Ranked Artists and Special Prize Winners

• Will be featured in the EP7 group exhibition held at ALLEFONDAZIONI in Rome.
• Will be automatically included in the editorial volume: «222 Emerging Artists to Invest In» (published by exibart).
• Will receive complimentary registration for the subsequent edition of the prize. This allows participation in the next competition without incurring any entry fee.
• Will be included in the prestigious digital catalog of finalists.

A dedicated and carefully indexed page on the exibart prize website, where you can present your artistic work in detail. This page will be easily accessible to visitors, collectors, and art professionals, offering you a valuable opportunity for visibility and promotion.

Art. 5 – TIMELINE AND DURATION

Registration for the prize is open until 11:59:59 PM on March 31, 2027.
Artworks can be uploaded until 11:59:59 PM on April 15, 2027.
By July 30, 2027, the expert jury will announce the winner of the exibart prize EP7.
By November 30, 2027, the digital catalog of the exibart prize will be published.

Art. 7 – ENTRY TERMS AND FEES

Online Submission. Entering the nominated artwork, text, captions, payment of the fee, etc. takes place within the user’s personal account on the website.
The entry fee for the exibart prize EP7 (standard version) is 122.00 euros.
For all students enrolled in academies and art schools, the registration fee is 61.00 euros. In this case, it is necessary to specify the school attended so that it can be verified by the competition office.
exibart reserves the right to modify, at its sole discretion, the competition registration fee while ongoing and to apply different rates for different participant categories. Furthermore, should it deem it appropriate, it reserves the right to postpone the closing date of the prize.

Art. 8 – PAYMENT METHODS

All payments must be made in euros free of any bank charges or commission costs to exibart. Please specify the artist’s full first and last name as registered in the payment reference/memo.

In case of payment by bank transfer, although the order remains pending until payment is received, the account is nevertheless activated immediately, allowing you to begin adding profile details and artworks right away without further notification.

Art. 9 – TRANSPORTATION

The winning artist’s artworks acquired by exibartlab will be transported with costs borne by exibartlab.

Art. 10 – COPYRIGHT & PRIVACY

Artists retain copyright of the images of artworks uploaded online, but grant exibartlab permission to use them for communication and promotional purposes: to create the prize catalog, for promotional materials associated with the prize, and for publication across exibartlab websites.
The person or organization submitting the entry on the website assumes sole responsibility for the contents of the visual and textual material submitted and transmitted on the Prize website. The Organization reserves the right to remove defamatory or obscene text or images, unless formally justified by the artist. Images of artworks entered into the Prize will remain visible online or in use as part of the permanent visual documentation of the Prize’s activity, and cannot be removed.
The applicant explicitly authorizes exibartlab and its direct representatives to process the participating artist’s personal data pursuant to Law 675/96 (‘Privacy Law’) and subsequent amendments Legislative Decree 196/2003 (Privacy Code), including for insertion into databases managed by the aforementioned entities. Any dispute will be handled in Italy and under Italian law. Personal data, images of prize artworks and/or other works uploaded on the site, or films/videos shot by the Organization/Organizer during an event to promote artists and the event itself, for web promotion, communication, or marketing, may be used by the Organization/Organizer without mandatory prior consent of the parties.
