Inanna, Sumerian goddess, her story tells that she took a journey into the afterlife and then finally returns to the surface, reborn, reaching balance and completeness, because only those who face their inner "demons" can aspire to the ascent .
By placing attention on the eyes, they appear closed, representing what you don't want to see, but also what you don't want to show.
At a higher vision, however, the closed eyes also represent a meditative state, of introspection, of that "buddhic" condition that indicates an inner peace, but which is also connected to the journey into the abyss made by Inanna.
Mixed Medium: Airbrush, paintbrush, acrylic paints.
On rigid panel
Base: prepared with putty, and final finish with opaque and glossy transparent paints.
