ancient knowledge acquired from nature and handed down orally, comes down to us after centuries of transformation, in the form of proverbs. In order to maintain geographical coherence, the proverbs selected for the cement embroideries come from the territories of Val Camonica and the upper Brescia area. As a union between past and present, today's proverbs have been translated with the corresponding phonetic characters of the ancient Camonica alphabet.
