An enlarged image of a scorpion presented through a double-sided digital scan. Emerging from the darkness, its exoskeleton reflects strategies of camouflage and adaptation, serving as a metaphor for a complex, multifaceted, and sensual existence. Upon closer inspection, the scorpion reveals itself to be an artificial construct made of burned plastic. This work is part of a series entitled "the plague", which was initiated in 2023. The pieces were also used as artworks for the Hacker Porn Film Festival (Rome, 2024).
