No 1. Veiled Presence

Black and white photograph, printed on fine art paper in a limited edition. This work examines the interplay between presence and absence, intimacy and distance, through a deliberate manipulation of light and shadow. The veiled figure, in dialogue with its surrounding space, evokes notions of memory, identity, and transformation, inviting reflection on the fluid boundaries of self-perception and otherness. In an act of reconnection and homage to origins, the work was not exhibited in a gallery or on a wall but instead placed within the very woods where Alba was born, making nature not just a backdrop but an essential part of the visual narrative.
