Regulations

Exibart Prize is an award dedicated to art and all its forms. Specifically, the eligible categories are: illustration, drawing, painting, graphic art, digital art, performance, sound art, photography, and sculpture. In general, all other forms of art not explicitly mentioned are also eligible.

To participate in the Exibart Prize EP6, you must be registered on the website exibartprize.com, upload up to 9 artworks on your personal page, and have paid the registration fee in full.

Art. 1 – PURPOSE

The competition is aimed at promoting Italian and international contemporary art. The prize is not awarded to a single artwork but is instead dedicated to the artist. Therefore, the entire personal page will be evaluated, including artworks, biography, and any video contributions.

Art. 2 – PARTICIPATION

The prize is open to all kinds of artists, with no limitations regarding age or qualifications.
Works submitted do not have to be unpublished, nor is there any requirement to adhere to a specific style or subject matter.

Art. 3 – SELECTION SYSTEM AND JURY

The selection process takes place in two phases:

First phase: the jury is composed of members of the Exibart editorial team, who select the finalist artists.
Second phase: a new selection of jurors will determine the winner of the prize.

The top 10 artists in the final ranking (excluding the winner, who may not participate again) will automatically qualify for the following year’s final round with free entry.

In the event of a tie, the artist who has received votes from the highest number of jurors will be ranked higher. If the tie persists, priority will be given to the artist with the highest number of likes/artworks on their page. If still tied, the artist who registered first will be favored.

Art. 4 – PRIZES AND BENEFITS

Winner of Exibart Prize EP6

€4,000.00 as acquisition of an artwork of the artist’s choice to be included in the Exibart collection and used as the cover of an issue of Exibart on paper. The prize will be subject to withholding tax according to the law.
€2,000.00 in advertising credit the artist can use, with no expiration, to promote exhibitions and events.
The artist will receive an exclusive cover on Exibart on paper, presented at one of the major art fairs attended by Exibart, with an internal interview.

2nd Place Winner

€2,000.00 as acquisition of an artwork of the artist’s choice to be included in the Exibart collection. Subject to applicable withholding tax.
€1,000.00 in advertising credit for exhibition and event promotion.
The artist will receive a two-page exclusive interview published in Exibart on paper.

3rd Place Winner

€1,000.00 as acquisition of an artwork of the artist’s choice to be included in the Exibart collection. Subject to applicable withholding tax.
€500.00 in advertising credit for exhibition and event promotion.
The artist will receive a one-page exclusive interview published in Exibart on paper.

Benefits for Top-Ranked Artists and Finalists

The top 10 artists will be published in “222 Emerging Artists to Invest In.”
The top 10 artists will also receive free entry to the next edition of the prize.
Finalists will be included in the prestigious digital catalog of finalists.

Benefits for All Registered Participants

Each participant will have a dedicated and well-indexed personal page on the Exibart Prize website, where they can present their work in detail. This page will be easily accessible to visitors, collectors, and professionals, offering a valuable opportunity for visibility and promotion.

Art. 5 – DEADLINES AND DURATION

Registrations are open until 11:59:59 PM on December 31, 2025.
Artworks may be uploaded until 11:59:59 PM on January 15, 2026.
By April 30, 2026, the jury will announce the winner of Exibart Prize EP6.
By October 30, 2026, the digital catalog including all finalists will be published.

Art. 7 – TERMS AND FEES FOR PARTICIPATION

Registration is done online. Uploading of artworks, texts, captions, and payment is completed via the personal account on the website.
The standard participation fee for Exibart Prize EP6 is €122.00.
For students of art academies and schools, the reduced fee is €61.00. In this case, the school must be specified for verification by the prize’s administrative office.

Exibart reserves the right to change the registration fee at its sole discretion and apply different rates for different categories of participants. It may also postpone the closing date of the prize if deemed necessary.

The fee for participating with the benefits of the Exibart Prize Professional version is €1,098.00 (see details on additional benefits)

Art. 8 – PAYMENT METHODS

All payments must be made in euros without any fees or charges for Exibart. The payment description must include the artist’s full name as registered.

In case of bank transfer, even if the order is pending until payment is received, the account will be immediately active, allowing the artist to begin uploading profile content and artworks without further notice.

Art. 9 – SHIPPING

Artworks acquired by Exibartlab from the winning artist will be shipped at the expense of Exibartlab.

Art. 10 – COPYRIGHT

Artists retain the rights to the images of the artworks uploaded online but grant Exibartlab the right to use them for communication and promotional purposes: for the prize catalog, promotional materials related to the prize, and publication on Exibartlab websites.

The person or entity submitting the registration is fully responsible for the content of the uploaded visual and textual material. The organization reserves the right to remove defamatory or obscene content unless formally justified by the artist.
Submitted images will remain visible or in use as part of the visual documentation of the prize and cannot be removed.

By registering, candidates expressly authorize Exibartlab and its authorized delegates to process their personal data in accordance with Law 675/96 (“Privacy Law”) and subsequent amendments (Legislative Decree 196/2003 – Privacy Code), including insertion into managed databases. Any legal disputes will be handled in Italy and according to Italian law.
Personal data, images of the artworks, or videos taken by the organization during events may be used for self-promotion, marketing, and web communication without needing further consent.
