The surface of the zipper, built on the contrast between the rubber-black background and the silvery line, evokes urban matter as rhythm and as memory of movement. Black absorbs light, like the floors of underground stations, while silver releases it in a sudden flash, like a train speeding through, slicing space.
The red thread, which breaks and catches along its path, introduces a visual tension. The work thus becomes a geography of contrasts—full and void, opaque and luminous, matter and flow.
