This work is composed of three columns of white eggs sewn together, designed to be suspended from the ceiling. The project transforms vulnerability into a load-bearing structure through the creation of columns made from eggshells, fragmented and reassembled using the Kintsugi technique with blue pigment.
The egg, a symbol of origin and genesis, represents the beginning of a new existential cycle rooted in awareness. The choice of the column, an archetype of stability and support, generates a visual paradox: the fragility of the shell, "repaired" with cobalt blue pigment, becomes the solid foundation upon which to build one's identity. Sewn together, the fragments bear witness to the fact that strength does not lie in original integrity, but in the ability to inhabit and ennoble one's own fractures.
