The cicada leaves its first skin, its nymphal envelope, attached to the trunk of a tree. I pick it up.
She continues to live, to emit her summer vibrations, and here only what she was remains. Her skin now is the sheath of the before, it is the past that carries in memories, instincts and the moments.
This project consists of a multitude of cicada exuviae, arranged on a plane in an installation mode. The dimensions change in relation to the number of shells set up.
