Il mio percorso formativo è stato alternativo alle scuole classiche di belle arti. Ho frequentato laboratori e corsi d’arte professionali su gran parte del territorio nazionale imparando tra le tecniche artistiche meno comuni quella dell' affresco, del mosaico e dell’aerografo. Le tecniche che porto avanti vanno dalla pittura ad olio all’incisione ad acquaforte, fino all'illustrazione, in un linguaggio onirico e neo surrealista. A seguito delle mie dimissioni dopo oltre 10 anni nel settore aeronautico, nel 2019 mi venne proposta da una azienda di decorazioni artistiche di Brescia di andare a lavorare ad Erbil nel Kurdistan Iraqueno per 5 mesi. Partecipo a mostre collettive internazionali, le più rilevanti sono il Salon d’Automne agli Champs-Élysées e SNBA Salon des Beaux Arts al Carrousel du Louvre di Parigi, The National Art Centre Di Tokyo e Museum of Youth, Xi’An. Al momento a seguito di una borsa di studio frequento un corso di alta formazione per l’animazione digitale 2d su piattaforma Toon Boom Harmony e Storyboard pro, organizzato dalla Sardegna Film Commission, con conseguente tirocinio lavorativo, questa è una nuova forma d’arte che voglio portare avanti insieme alle altre.
My training path was an alternative to the classical schools of fine arts, carried out hand in hand with totally different professions. I attended professional art workshops and courses throughout most of the country, learning frescoes, mosaics and airbrushing among the less common artistic techniques. The artistic languages that I carry on range from oil painting to etching, up to a synthesis of illustration and caricature, but always immersed in a dreamlike and introspective atmosphere or, as no critic has interpreted, neo-surrealist. In 2019 I resigned after 10 years from my permanent job (employee of the Air Navigation company), choosing the freelance profession as an artist. After my resignation it has been proposed me to work by a Decorative Art company in Brescia to go to work in Erbil in Iraqueno Kurdistan for 5 months. I participate in international group exhibitions, the most important being the Salon d’Automne on the Champs-Élysées and SNBA Salon des Beaux Arts at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris, The National Art Center in Tokyo and Museum of Youth, Xi'An. At the moment, following a scholarship, I am attending a high-level training course for 2d digital animation on the Toon Boom Harmony and Storyboard pro platform, organized by the Sardegna Film Commission, resulting in a working internship, this is a new art form in which I want to professionalize and carry on together with the others.
