“99%” explores the cycle of life through a modular structure composed of 99 plexiglass cubes, each containing new or used motor oil. The chromatic gradation of the cubes represents the transformation of matter over time, from its original state to saturation.
The absence of the hundredth cube creates a visual and symbolic rupture: if 100% represents the definitive closure of the cycle, this void becomes a space of possibility—a gesture of resistance and openness toward what has yet to happen.
