Confusion, disorder and anxiety are central to Erika Godino's poetics. In the work Addosso, a boulder of energy and persistent malaise merge and mingle in a series of panels made with a mixed technique, from which emerges the desire to ward off an atavistic and almost energetic, angry and violent sense of helplessness.
The use of color reflects the effort of an individual in the constant search for peace, which can be glimpsed, exists, but seems ineffable.
The interlocutor is led to confront a familiar mental state that can be destabilizing and
frustrating, but which induces a deep, almost meditative and invigorating auscultation.
