Aria dura bianca (per la finzione di uno scorcio urbano) su fondo bianco – Miami – omaggio a Malevič

in this artwork I explored the extreme consequences of the artist’s abstraction process and research for the absolute; to do that, I created a dense and complicated net of white skyscrapers painted on polycarbonate; the polycarbonate sheet was successively applied onto the canvas, which had been painted with the same tones in order to meld and blend the details with the background, abstracting the shapes that vanish in the absolutism of colour.
