Build Yourself investigates the problem of space as a body-container and how this concept is exploited in our era.
Through the installation medium my research attempts to place a filter on the urban superstructures that animate ours
landscapes.
The presented work reshapes the waste; forgotten subject, highlighting its similarities with life and humans, since nothing looks more like us than our direct consequences on our surroundings. During this phase the technique is basically mixed; it starts from painting, touching collage, castingand much more. This moment becomes emblem of a certain pleasure of mine.
Once enough subjects have been modeled, it becomes necessary for me to make them talk to each other, arranging them together in big installations, considering the energies and possibilities of empty space.
The resulting micro - environment, the hybridization of sculptural subjects and the generation of an indeterminable space - time becomes for me a fundamental medium to cancel any demarcation between organic and industrial.
TECHNIQUE: Mixed
MATERIALS: Waste objects, industrial scaffolding, concrete, acrylic enamel, acrylic color, iron, PVC pipes, paraffin, stabilized moss
