Decompose, Oil on canvas, unique work.
Campari Decompose - Demoiselle Virtuel
The work Demoiselle virtuall is the fourth painting created and dedicated to the “Campari Decompose” series.
A self-project commissioned for the brand and inspired by the recent visit to a large Fortunato Depero exhibition.
The work is in fact inspired by Depero's plastic dances and Schlemmer's Triadisches Ballet, as evidenced by the squared geometric lines and three-dimensional chiaroscuro present throughout the composition.
The synthetic and unconventional language aims to achieve a personal reinterpretation and evolution of the figure of the Demoiselle d'Avignon, a woman of the future, with a new aesthetic canon. However, as in the masterpiece of the Master of Cubism, also in the Demoiselle Virtuel there is a search to introduce a classic and ancient appearance, the subject's pose creates a timeless poetic harmony despite the sharp lines of its polygonal geometry.
Finally there is an aspect that goes beyond the metaphysical, everything in the work appears virtual, artificial, as a clear trace of the era in which we live.
Even in this last case there is a further evolutionary and reinterpretation analogy of a great master and his world: De Chirico.
