Decompose, Oil on canvas, unique work.
In February 2023 I was at the Mart Museum in Rovereto for an artistic workshop dedicated to young people and very young people from local schools, based on my painting project Decompose.
During my stay at the Mart between one workshop and another I was able to appreciate one of the largest Fortunato Depero exhibitions ever seen before. An experience that made me fall in love with a great artist and intrigued by the link with Campari so much so that I continued my research by visiting the Depero advertising at the Campari Gallery.
Back home I decided to create a pictorial project of posters and works for Campari in Decompose style that I commissioned.
The research becomes study and then experimentation and from here the first 3 posters are born, one in particular becomes the most important work of my production for the entire year 2023. The project includes various works to be created including painted posters and non-advertising works.
The work “Decomposed Manifesto 001” has 2 distinct souls: advertising and artistic.
The poetic key, expressed with pictorial synthesis, is well identified in the elements present in the composition such as the hand and the glass, minimal and geometric and the chromatic contrasts.
The explicit elements that make the work an advertising vehicle are: the realistic representation of the bottle, the iconographic composition of the figure and the presence of the large logo in the lower part of the painting.
