In this work I imagined to observe the sky of Abruzzo through one of the mullioned windows located in Palazzo Ducale Orsini-Colonna of Tagliacozzo (AQ).
The central column of the mullioned window is given by the absence of the column itself, the two panels color of the sky delimit the contours of both the central column and the external limits of the mullioned window.
Like many of my works, the tactile experience is also fundamental for 'Cieli d'Abruzzo'. Touching the surface of this work, even with closed eyes, helps you get in touch with it.
Mixed media with pigments on wood, unique piece.
