The two symbols that represent Women in this work are the sinusoidal line and the circle which recall their diversity from a physical point of view. The sentences that make up the work, written by women and men who have left a mark on society, are not only an affirmation of female qualities and peculiarities, but also expressions that reinforce the value of the role of women. Other quotes instead denounce the unequal treatment compared to men and the discrimination they suffer. The strips with the sentences, printed in white or black, are the voice of this metaphorical speaking body that tries to tell about itself, about that multiple female universe that everyone sees and perceives differently.
Semicircles, 5, of glued white cardboard - strips of ivory and black cardboard with 16 sentences printed in white or black - of various dimensions in width and length - curved and inserted with a sinusoidal movement on special and studied open slots on the black laminil support.
