DOPPIA PERSONALITÀ

The work is in black and white to represent the two opposite and contrasting facets of our personality. It consists in the reuse and elaboration of a plexiglass display panel in which there are two busts with the addition of a mask on the face, in the center two faces in profile and on a small support, a clay sculpture, made by the artist , half white and half black. The black and white colored spots signify the presence of pollution, of different facets, in each of the different personalities. The work rests on a ground support, which has a mirrored front part, which recalls the increasingly widespread process of conforming, mirroring itself in others, on which the phrase: WE RELEASE OUR TRUE PERSONALITY from the MASTERED IDENTITY.
