Luminous cruciform pharmaceutical sign buried vertically in a mound of earth, in analogy with the tradition of Christian burial.
The work is dedicated to all the victims of the pandemic who died due to the poor management of the health emergency, protocols, flawed information, censorship, unwanted effects and economic-political interests; it denounces the pharmaceutical industry, in particular the companies that have enriched themselves during the pandemic and post-pandemic period by speculating on public health; it wants to criticize the monopolies of the multinational pharmaceutical companies and the spread of an increasingly medicalized culture.
It is addressed to all survivors.
Work winning the special Arte Laguna Prize 2024.
Materials: wooden frame and base; mound of earth; metal cross and led.
Currently, only one work belonging to the Sibilla Collection has been created.
