The project is the result of an idea born 3 years ago one morning. The subject of the photographs is always the same: a bus stop, located along a country road. The shooting point is always the same, as is the shooting time, around 8 in the morning. Photos apparently identical to each other, outlined by a central element that is repeated together with a homogeneous landscape consisting of the Po Valley. Symbolic vision of a repetitive daily life, boring and without variations in the slow passage of time. By carefully analyzing the details, however, it is easy to identify small changes: light, atmospheric events, surrounding objects: traces of human presence, which change without a predefined logic. Small transformations that make each shot unique, just as every day of life can remember the previous one, without however ever being the perfect copy. By carefully observing the individual shots, one is led to look for the particular, the differences, the evolution in the scene day after day, imagining what stories can be contained in each single photograph, which implicitly contains life episodes lived at the bus stop. . A place that is such when it welcomes social interaction, but turns into a "non-place" when devoid of human presence.
