GROUND explores the relationship between macrocosm and microcosm through a “primordial story”, where three-act structure is stripped down to its essentiality and ultimately expresses a sort of universal prologue-development-epilogue of nature and human consciousness.
I was aiming to represent the deep interconnections between humans and the environment. The protagonist’s path through different landscapes, culminating in water as a symbol of renewal, mirrors humanity’s search for balance with nature. By intertwining natural elements, body fragments, and recurring shapes, GROUND highlights the inseparability of human life from ecological systems.
