“Hearts on Earth”

- The work represents a denunciation of discrimination and abuses against oppressed ethnic groups, the black heart is worn out, almost destroyed and drops blood on the white heart that discriminates by subjecting it to humiliation and abuse, depriving it of fundamental freedoms. Even the white heart is eroded, the suffering of a minority that feels this serious problem but cannot change things. Both flood a world that hardly supports them and suffers from this very tangible but difficult to quantify evil.
- Three manually modeled overlapping elements, made in both stoneware and white earthenware, transparent glazing on the two hearts, transparent and pigmented glazing on the world element. Blood made by painting it both with acrylic color and with alcohol inks
