It was unusually warm outside when I started to work on this tondo painting. I felt like spring was coming already, awakening grass on the ground and leaves in the trees. It gives me a sense of freshness, of nature that is thriving and growing up again, gifting us with new hope.
I have tried to impress on the canvas delicate brushstrokes and smooth transitions, to represent a place, or a state of the mind, that is back again to its splendour and potential.
