The reference to the wild boar, an animal characterized by a very complex symbolism, comes from the Celtic world for which it was a symbol of combativeness and strength, its flesh was placed in the graves of the dead as viaticum to give them strength in the journey to the afterlife, a messenger between the Underworld and the human world.
