A legend tells that one winter night in Anticoli di Campagna (now Fiuggi), during a siege, Saint Blaise caused a great fire to deceive the attackers and put them to flight. In memory of this "miracle," the so-called Stuzze Celebration is held today, characterized by large bonfires made from tree trunks (the stuzze), which are transported from the mountains to the city. The artwork, part of a diptych, comes from the solo exhibition Dust and Water, held from August 13th to September 4th, 2022, in the thermal complex of Luigi Moretti at the Fonte Bonifacio VIII.
