“Lago cittadino”

In this painting I wanted to represent the abstraction of a city lake landscape. The idea was to take simple elements that can belong to any lake present in a large city park (in many cities there are large parks with "water games"; in my hometown there is one) and assemble them, further simplifying their nature: the fountain becomes a ball that sprays an unreal jet of water, the beach a simple ocher line, the tree-lined avenues that reflect on the water a flow of atramento, the pond a veil of green water and so on.
