Fabric Picture realized by tailoring technique.
After reading the book "KINTSUKUROI The Japanese Art of Healing the Wounds of the Soul" by Tomàs Navarro, I thought of drawing my wounds (the interruption lines) with a pencil on a white cotton fabric. I realized, with amazement, that the wounds made up a beautiful Lotus flower. Then I broke the lines, cutting with scissors and obtaining several pieces of fabric.
In the end I patiently sewed all the pieces highlighting the breaking lines and inserting a gold ribbon (handmade by me) in the middle, as taught by the Japanese philosophy kintsukuroi, the art of repairing wounds.
