Marsabit’ is a monumental artwork more than four metres high, representing through a fluid aluminium magma the imprint of a tree barely touching the ground. This aluminium artistic fusion I am working on will be a metaphor for life itself, like the vital energy that manifests itself through the constant flow of blood, air and water, transforming and changing, in a process of continuous evolution. “Marsabit” wants to represent a reflection on the theme of the ephemeral and transitory… my fluid sign, in fact, is as if it were destined to change and transform over time, until it disappears completely. This sign represents the impermanence of life, a theme that is particularly close to my heart and often invites us to reflect on the transitory nature of human existence, and the importance of seizing every moment of our lives with awareness and gratitude.
