New Solution — Serie

New Solution is the title of the project that includes the study by two-dimensional surfaces of the chemical and atomic properties of sulfates. The compositions are born as a response to the effect that the material exerts on a board. Sulfates of blue, green or purple color are laid out on paper applied to an aluminum or plexiglas support. The transition of state from liquid to solid forces the crystal to reassemble at the atomic level to recreate its basic structure once the water has evaporated. The support absorbing the compound triggers a struggle of forces between the paper and the sulphate atoms used that try to reassemble into ordered structures. From this tension are born these aestheticizing works that express the force of matter.

Technique: Copper sulfate on paper, applied on plexiglass support
