Non v’è luce nella ferita

There is no light in the wound is a work that flows on the
concept of time. Time related to the exhibition site and
the artist’s action.
The work possesses a mechanism distributed between
precise weights, pulls and attractions, in which the form
heals and cuts through the host space.
At the structural level, we encounter a long pointed
spear made of 7 m galvanized steel, resting and tightly
stretched, by a steel cable anchored firmly to the ground,
until it reaches the supporting beam of the altar, thus
traversing the entire Chapel.
In the first half of the space, we encounter a cylinder that
houses a small, thin, moving hand on which is threaded
a long white hair of the artist’s, which in turn is tied to a
magnetic weight.
The hair is mirrored in the center of the altar wall. Framed by four holes, with lucesoffused, appears a drop of
tin supported by a black hair.
