“Paolo and Francesca” is a photographic project inspired by Dante’s Inferno, set in the “Circle of the Consumers” (Fifth Circle). The two lovers are condemned to suffocate within the very material they overindulged in life, embodying the law of contrapasso. Captured digitally with a Nikon D5600 (2548 × 3822 px), the images are printed on fine art materials, transforming a literary vision into a contemporary visual meditation on desire, excess, and consequence.
