A performer embroiders "prendersi cura" which in English means “take care of” at the centre of flesh- colored organza fabric with a polyester thread that has the same color of the cloth.
The color represents the human being. The repeated action constitutes the taking care of herself in her daily routine.
The hand-embroidery writing is not very visible because of the monochromatism of the materials. This visual aspect represents the intimacy and the value of the gesture of taking care of herself. The measures of the fabric are 175 centimeters by 150 centimeters. The cloth area corresponds to the performer’s height and to her maximum arms opening. This organza portion is the maximum surface that she cans take care.
