Phrases taken from the Divine Comedy that may be visible to an attentive observer and not at first glance. Tercets relating to Canto XXXIII and XXXI of Paradiso. "From here on my sight was greater than our speech, which yields to such sight, and the memory yields to such outrage (that which goes beyond the visible).... " Dante finally succeeds after a long journey to see the divine light. "You have drawn me from a servant to freedom through all those ways, through all the ways that I had the power to do this..." The angel woman, of the sweet new style, Beatrice is the intermediary that allows Dante to get closer to God. She is the beloved woman and his savior. In this work is used the acrylic on board technique with color stratifications. A blue, scratched background it lets glimpse the underlayers of gold. The color choice is inspired by the Sky of the Moon in Dante' s Paradise with areas of light and areas of shadow.
