The project aims to raise questions about the relationship between humans and technology, as well as among humans, focusing on the issue of "marginal time"—those portions where time is undermined by the increasing alienation due to digital dependence.
On the surfaces of the suspended galvanized and/or enameled sheet metal, fissures have been created following a recurring module in the ventilation/dissipation systems of technological devices. The objects introduced onto these metal surfaces refer to the human, as does the respiratory system of the machine, and somehow mediate a certain irreverent character.
Each suspended piece reflects on a "temporal interval," as noted by Dorfles, and serves as a reference to "insignificant" breaks, the useful idle times that punctuate the day and are increasingly filled today by hyperactivity-digital stimulation.
