Taurus was born from the idea of developing an image that symbolizes the strength, the stability and the patience.
Behind the aesthetic research of the work that plays a fundamental role, the thought hides that the human being, despite standing out in numerous differences from the animal kingdom, has hidden within himself a primordial, instinctive part, which brings him back to things earthly, thus destining it to recognize it and accept it for what it is.
This is why the bull's eyes are mirrored.
The artwork ranges from welding techniques to carving and sculpture. Wood, steel and glass blend together to form his physiognomy. The bull's head was created with an 8 mm diameter iron rod engraved, welded and finally shaped so that the observer first visual impact would be of a single block. The wooden horn is carved and brushed, it has natural veins due to the conformity of the material. So this work too preserves the authentic and original characteristics of the raw material.
