TRAMONTO

This oil painting represents a sunset and is made on a wooden frame on which a canvas colored in black, grey, yellow, orange, magenta, purple and white is stretched. The sunset is represented with soft and dynamic brushstrokes in an impressionist style. It is divided horizontally into two parts of which we have the lower one which is clearer and clearer and almost monochromatic due to the sole presence of black and gray with some hints of white; the upper part, however, immediately stands out due to the very bright colors of the sunset which create a perfect contrast with the gray of the dark clouds that surround it above and below.
