This work tells about 3 days spent in the unspoiled nature of the mountains.
One of the central keys of interpretation is the artist's concentration on her partner, with whom she has shared in symbiosis the days spent in a carefree and serenity in the mountains, far from the daily frenzy that surrounds us.
In a complex moment in her life, he tried to mentally bring himself back to a happy moment spent next to a dear and fundamental person in her history. The experience, the three days, the 72 hours were depicted in a single work and not in a triptych, trying to unify in a single space an a-temporal situation spent in a locus amoenusconstant. Looking for the antithesis with the experiences lived (the city, the noise, the anxiety), the peace of the mountains is represented in a single canvas, which wants to be offered to the viewer in a single glance, in a challenge to the monotony of everyday life.
The circle of cheerful and sunny colors in the center of the work is intended to represent the artist's companion, the center of these three days, surrounded by a cyclical development of the various landscapes and situations passed. At the top left you can see two longitudinal yellow spots that represent the couple during the first walk, between flowery meadows and the brown mountains; in the central part patches of blue and azure represent the lake, the destination of the second excursion, which reflected the walkers and the blue of the sky. The rest of the flowers symbolize the end of the journey and the separation from the green and red of the mountain fields before returning to the gray of the city.
The antithesis between compressing different moments into a single complete and continuous work and the real temporal amplitude of all these events is sought to bring out the importance they had for the artist, after a period of psychic and physical difficulty due to some health problems. The intimate and quiet moments in the mountains were an antidote to the noise and the revolution of the metropolis.
