This painting is an authentic testimony to the devastating impact of the 2014 Russian aggression in Ukraine, a collection of Ukrainian neologisms born from the need to express the ineffability of that experience. At the center of this artistic creation, emerges the power of words such as "analogov net" - "there are no analogies", a cry that represents the uniqueness of the pain and suffering experienced.

The choice of color sequence is intentional, aiming to create chromatic harmony with the words arranged in a growing spiral. This spiral represents the escalation of a conflict that seems to have no end, a visual representation of the beginning of a turmoil that could potentially extend to infinity.

"The title of the painting, "Ukrained," draws inspiration from the new verb "to be Ukrained," recently added to the Urban Dictionary. This expression embodies the determination of a nation, Ukraine, to resist the Russian invasion and ridicule the aggressor in front of the whole world

This work was created with acrylic colors and silver leaf in a single copy, giving the painting an aura of uniqueness and preciousness. This painting is a symbol of the strength and resilience of the Ukrainian people in the face of adversity, a powerful testimony to the human ability to find meaning even in the most difficult situations
