Zip 6 – Fragment of Silver carries forward this investigation of the boundary as a place of passage, where matter opens itself to light and the surface becomes an inner resonance.
The work explores the threshold as a space of transition and transformation. The sinuous line traced by the zipper crosses the surface like a gesture that disrupts equilibrium, only to recompose it into a new harmony. The background, in matte silver, holds the light; the zipper, glossy and metallic, releases it in shifting reflections. Between the two unfolds a continuous dialogue—a visual tension that pushes beyond the limits of matter, turning the boundary into a site of revelation.
Light does not merely carve out space: it transfigures it, transforming the surface into a sensitive territory where matter becomes presence and silence finds its voice.
