The project proposes a journey inside the artist's mind presented as an alienating place populated with objects, the result of a visionary reinterpretation of works from the past: Dalì, Duchamp, the Bauhaus, De Dominicis, Boetti, Manzoni and then again other visual stimuli coming from ancient art or even from realities outside art, mixed and merged to generate new artworks. The installation is a reinterpretation of Matisse's famous painting "Atelier Rouge", and aims to be an allegory of the artistic creative process. In dialogue with Studio Rosso, a video entitled Round Trip anticipates the immersive experience of the installation, proposing a sequence of animated gifs with a fast-paced rhythm, in which the artworks are re-paginated in new visual stimuli through a continuous process of manipulation and reinterpretation of the visual data, typical of the oniric dimension.
