“Grande paesaggio rosa”

This painting belongs to a series of studies that I have done on the possible chromatic uses of the pigments of the family of quinacridones. These colors, very popular in oil and acrylic paint brands, have characteristics of great coloring power and create very deep and fascinating effects. In this painting an extremely minimalized hilly landscape is represented, the dominated scene is the pink and unreal sky, which is the background to the rural scene, described exclusively by a small electric tower, a wall and perhaps a freshly plowed field.
