Starting from a photographic interpretation of some situations in the natural world, e
then passing through the collage technique, I recreate an ambiguous image on canvas:
we apparently recognize what is represented, but what is seen is in reality
inexistent. The image is the result of an assembly of shapes, sometimes repeated,
brought together again, which questions the boundary between mimesis and abstraction.
Immutable spaces come to life, tending towards infinity and without vanishing points. It is a photographic abstraction that aims to question what is represented by the senses. A sort of putting into form what in eastern cultures is defined as "the veil of maya".
