the wood series was created after a long search for the deepest myself.
We all have a shell that protects us from the outside world, a sort of armour, but a different ‘I’ comes out if we dig, it is difficult to show ourselves completely naked, but if we dig, it bevels or smoothes a little... a part of the self that is in us comes out that we are often afraid to show.
The work is not only focused on color, but touching the surface, even with our eyes closed, can help us discover which side of us we are willing to show.
