This creation sheds light on the close and delicate connection between humanity and its inextricable link between nature and waste.
This metal sculpture features post-digitized organic and inorganic waste, made with food scraps and inorganic waste materials.
The work explores the theme of food and presents it in a new and unrecognizable way: individual foods are collected, mixed, processed, enlarged, studied, and dissected to reveal their deepest essence. The result of this analysis, somewhere between alchemy and desecration, is reproduced with organic and non-organic microfragments, first fixed on small acetate rectangles, mounted on 24x36mm slide frames, and appropriately highlighted with similar dyes. The creation is then digitized to give life to new products where light reigns supreme. Microcosms that come to life on supports like reversible photographic films, used to show micro elements interacting with light to the point of creating plays of color that support unusual shapes.
