The work "Pills" is part of the "In the dark" series.
Each work in this series is a look at the micro space/world of the private, of closed internal spaces, where the world can only be seen from a window.
The most intimate dimension, made up of self-portraits, personal fetishes, everyday objects, represented with a figurative language but only on the surface, poised between realism and surrealism, at the same time pop and noir. Everything comes together in the scene, the world of the internet, American literature, among which the imagery of Bret Eston Ellis stands out, music and neon lights. They are micro stories in which the artist appears subordinate to the objects and spaces he depicts, in reality it is a disenchanted gaze that wants to exorcise the dark world he evokes, and through the vividness of color create a fantasy and pop world.
