Fine Art Print
Edition 1/5
There is a precise moment when an object stops being chosen, desired, or used. A
silent instant in which it is left by the roadside, as if it no longer held any value.
And yet, it still carries the shape of the hands that touched it, the weight of the days it
has lived through.
"Come nuovo" is born from this suspended space, between usefulness and oblivion,
between ownership and abandonment. Objects become symbols of a system built on
consumption and excess. Things that tell our stories. They remind us how accustomed
we are to accumulating, replacing, and constantly desiring more.
Buying has become an automatic act, often disconnected from real need. It’s a
response to a void that has no shape, but which we try to fill with quantity.
Abandoned objects reflect our habits, our vulnerabilities, and the way we try to define
ourselves through what we own.
